About the Role ATC Experts is expanding our network of
PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) specialists to support ongoing and upcoming client engagements across high-tech and engineering sectors. We're seeking an experienced
PLM Configuration Analyst / Consultant who can configure, customize, and optimize enterprise PLM environments-helping clients streamline design, manufacturing, and change management processes.
This role is ideal for consultants who thrive on solving integration challenges, improving data governance, and enabling cross-functional collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities - Configure and customize PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, or SAP PLM) to align with client business requirements.
- Support ECO/ECR workflows, BOM management, CAD data integrations, and lifecycle state configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, program management) to gather and translate business needs into PLM configurations.
- Design and implement workflow automations, access controls, and versioning rules to improve data consistency and compliance.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation for change requests or enhancements.
- Provide user training, functional documentation, and production support for PLM deployments and upgrades.
- Partner with ERP or MES teams to ensure seamless integration across enterprise systems.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience working as a PLM Analyst, Consultant, or System Administrator.
- Strong working knowledge of at least one major PLM platform:
- Siemens Teamcenter (preferred)
- PTC Windchill
- Dassault Enovia / 3DEXPERIENCE
- SAP PLM / BTP-Integrated PLM
- Familiarity with CAD integrations (NX, Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks) and data migration tools.
- Understanding of BOM management, change control, and configuration management principles.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills-comfortable interfacing with engineers, program managers, and executives.
Preferred Skills - Experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace, Workflow Designer, or BMIDE.
- Scripting or automation experience (Python, ITK, or similar).
- Exposure to SAP-PLM or ERP integrations.
- Knowledge of Aerospace & Defense compliance environments (ITAR, DFARS). BIG BONUS
