Job Details: Job Title: Senior Integration Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION: Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Integration Engineer (Contract) to build, optimize, and maintain the full ecosystem of product, catalog, and order feeds that power our paid media and affiliate marketing performance.This role owns end-to-end integration development -from requirements gathering to build, deployment, QA, monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
You will partner closely with Performance Marketing, Data Engineering, and Loyalty to enable accurate, real-time, scalable feed delivery across platforms including Google, Hightouch, Feedonomics, and AppsFlyer , with downstream activation across paid social, paid search, affiliate networks, retargeting partners, and app attribution platforms.This contractor will play a mission-critical role in improving campaign efficiency, partner tracking accuracy, and customer experience across the entire funnel.Key Responsibilities Integration Development & Architecture
- Build and maintain product, catalog, pricing, availability, and order event feeds across marketing and affiliate platforms.
- rchitect integration patterns leveraging Google Merchant/Ads APIs, Hightouch syncs, Feedonomics transformations, and AppsFlyer event ingestion.
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT data flows supporting existing and new partners.
- Own deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, error handling, and monitoring configurations.
Operational Ownership - Troubleshoot and resolve feed-related issues including data accuracy, partner rejection, latency, and mismatch errors.
- Implement automated checks, alerts, and validation systems to ensure feed reliability and SLA adherence.
- Optimize feed frequency, data freshness, and update logic to drive media performance improvements.
- Conduct impact analysis on data schema changes, platform API updates, or new partner integrations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Performance Marketing to understand tracking needs, product taxonomy, campaign requirements, and partner specifications.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering on source-of-truth tables, schemas, event pipelines, and governance rules.
- Support Loyalty teams with integrations that enhance customer lifecycle targeting or reward attribution.
- Work with external vendors and integration partners to test, validate, and deploy connections.
Quality, Governance & Scaling - Ensure accuracy and completeness of all product and order-level data used for marketing activation.
- Develop documentation, version control, and repeatable processes for feed onboarding and partner expansions.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate, centralize, or modernize feed infrastructure.
Qualifications Required - 5-8+ years of engineering experience with marketing data, product catalog systems, or partner integrations.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs, JSON/JSONL, and webhook/event systems.
- Hands-on experience with Google product feeds, affiliate feeds (CJ/Impact/Rakuten), conversion/event tracking, and attribution-related integrations.
- Expertise with Hightouch, Feedonomics, or similar feed management/ETL platforms.
- Experience working with AppsFlyer or comparable mobile measurement platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to build end-to-end integrations in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Strong debugging, monitoring, and data validation skills.
Preferred - Experience with cloud platforms ( GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Knowledge of tagging architectures, pixels, server-side event pipelines, or CDP syncs.
- Background supporting Performance Marketing or Growth organizations.
- Familiarity with loyalty systems, CRM, or lifecycle event mapping.
Success Metrics - Feed uptime/availability meets or exceeds SLAs.
- Data accuracy for product and order feeds in all partner platforms.
- Reduced issue volume and faster mean-time-to-resolution (MTTR).
- Improved partner onboarding speed (new feed integrations delivered on predictable timelines).
- Positive impact on marketing efficiency , including ROAS, CPA, and partner tracking accuracy.
- Effective cross-functional alignment with Performance Marketing, Data Engineering, and Loyalty.
