About the Role

Confidential Search: Client Executive – Trade Credit Insurance

A leading global firm in the commercial finance and risk solutions space is seeking a high-caliber Client Executive to join its growing Risk division. This organization partners with middle-market and enterprise clients todeliver sophisticated credit insurance and working capital solutions that support both domestic and international growth.

This is a client-facing, revenue-impact role focused on managing and expanding a portfolio of trade credit insurance relationships. You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy, directly influencing client retention, carrier negotiations, and overall portfolio performance.

The Opportunity

This is not a typical account management role. You'll center around risk, underwriting, and client strategy, working closely with carriers, lenders, and internal stakeholders to structure and optimize credit insurance programs.

You'll also gain exposure to a proprietary technology platform that is transforming how credit insurance policies are administered and scaled.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage a portfolio of trade credit insurance clients with full accountability for retention and growth
  • Lead renewal strategy and negotiations with credit insurance carriers
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning policy structures with evolving credit risk and business needs
  • Proactively resolve coverage challenges and deliver tailored solutions in a dynamic risk environment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across carriers, financial institutions, and referral partners
  • Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities across a broader suite of financial and risk solutions
  • Support onboarding and implementation of policies onto a proprietary credit insurance platform
  • Partner with internal underwriting and portfolio teams to support broader risk management initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • ~5+ years of experience in trade credit insurance, commercial insurance, underwriting, or related financial risk products
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience working directly with carriers/underwriters
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk and deliver practical solutions
  • Experience managing or supporting complex client portfolios
  • Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Bachelor's degree required
