About the Role

Senior Civil Engineer

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing Community Development business in Busselton. Reporting directly to the Business Leader, you will be engaged in civil design projects related to land, urban and subdivision projects. This isan excellent career pathway for an experienced Civil Engineer who seeks to grow their technical and leadership capabilities in a global engineering consultancy.

Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. About the Role

The role will require independent design, project delivery and stakeholder management and will suit an experienced Civil Engineer with good technical design background, strong consulting engineering and project delivery skills.

Day to day tasks would involve:

  • Civil design relating land, urban and subdivisions
  • Construction phase support, design review, stakeholder management, liaison with authorities, reporting, contract administration and quality audits.
  • Liaising with engineers, designers, and drafters
  • Adhering to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures.
  • Managing clients and other consultants.
  • Assist with project management and business development.
  • Support Project Leaders Managers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction.
Qualifications

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in the civil engineering related to design and delivery of urban, land and subdivisions
  • Knowledge of applicable Australian standards, codes and state requirements
  • Obtain CP Eng and RPEQ Registration as soon as eligible
