As a Digital Marketing Manager (m/w/d) OneJoints, you will take on the strategic responsibility for the positioning, adoption, and scaling of digital surgical solutions in Germany.

The focus is not on the operational product marketing but on the sustainable anchoring of digital and robotic surgical solutions in clinical care concepts and hospital strategies.

Your Responsibilities Include

Strategic Leadership Digital Surgery (Germany)

  • Definition and further development of the digital surgery marketing strategy for the German market
  • Translation of robotics, software, and data technologies into clearly differentiated clinical and economic value propositions
  • Close coordination with EMEA and global strategies, with clear local ownership

Adoption & Utilization – Beyond the Launch

  • Development and management of adoption and utilization models after system placement
  • Focus on:
    • Sustainable surgical usage
    • Case growth
    • Scaling in clinical networks
  • Building reference centers and best practice programs

Clinical & Commercial Orchestration

  • Collaboration on an equal footing with:
    • Sales & Capital Teams
    • Clinical Affairs & Education
    • Market Access & Hospital Leadership
  • Positioning digital surgical solutions as a strategic component of hospital routes, surgical efficiency, and quality assurance

Thought Leadership & KOL Networks

  • Building and maintaining a national KOL network in the field of Digital & Robotic Surgery
  • Utilization of:
    • Real-world data
    • Clinical evidence
    • Success stories for systematic market positioning

Business Steering & Impact

  • Definition and tracking of relevant KPIs, e.g.:
    • Adoption & Utilization Rate
    • Pipeline Impact Digital Surgery
    • Contribution to capital and system growth
  • Derivation of strategic measures for medium-term growth and investment planning

Your Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic marketing, product, or go-to-market functions in the MedTech environment
  • Proven experience with:
    • Digital solutions / software
    • Robotics or capital equipment
    • Complex clinical decision-making processes
  • Confident presence in front of senior stakeholders (internal & external)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Negotiation skills in German & English

Professional Prerequisites

  • Deep understanding of the German healthcare and hospital market
  • Ability to translate technology into business benefits
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with implementation strength

Personal Competencies

  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills
  • Big-picture mindset with a focus on operational realities
  • High degree of independence, prioritization, and decision-making ability
  • Travel readiness: approx. 60%

Johnson & Johnson has announced its intention to separate from the orthopaedic business to form an independent orthopaedic company operating under the name DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is expected to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultations with works councils and other employee representatives, regulatory approvals, and other customary conditions and approvals.

If you accept this position, it is expected that after the completion of the spin-off, you will be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment relationship will be subject to the employment processes, programs, policies, and performance plans of DePuy Synthes. In this case, you will be informed of the details of any planned changes by DePuy Synthes in due course and will be subject to any necessary consultation processes.
