About the Role
Nautilus Solar Energy's Portfolio Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the management and operations of Nautilus' generating portfolio. Using web-based monitoring tools, the Portfolio Operations Analyst will ensure Nautilus' solar sites are performing optimally. This position reports to a Senior Portfolio Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
Daily monitoring of Nautilus' solar power plant performance.
Manage and document plant alerts and cases for follow up.
Organize and process O&M expenses through Netsuite.
Schedule and manage deliverables of preventative maintenance inspections.
Work closely with Nautilus' Portfolio Operations Managers and O&M partners to continuously improve plant performance.
Support completion of compliance reports for management and financing partners.
Assist in new plant onboarding including document management, data entry and validation.
Support Special projects as needed.
Support RFP processes and analysis for 3rd party Operations and Maintenance (O&M) partnerships.
Support the development of tools, procedures, and business relationships to help decrease Nautilus maintenance costs over time.
1 year minimum of relevant solar management experience preferred.
Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Work hours 8am - 4pm EST and periodic on-call weekends for site monitoring
Ability to work effectively remotely with different levels and functions of the organization as well as with external parties such as banks, lawyers, customers and contractors
Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Ability to undertake complex tasks
Project oriented with a goal to complete assignments on time
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
