Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $7,000 - $10,000 USD/month (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM US Central Time (CST)

Our Client

Our Client is an elite, rapidly expanding strategic financial communications platform built by investment professionals, institutional investors, and seasoned operators to maximize enterprise value. Partnering with over 400+ premier investment firms, private equity sponsors, asset managers, and financial platforms globally, they navigate highly critical capital markets moments: capital formation, fund raises, M&A execution, and investor relations. Tripling in size year-over-year, the firm bridges deep financial intelligence with creative influence, offering an integrated suite covering transaction readiness, research, multimedia execution, and institutional public relations.

Job Overview

Our Client is seeking a high-caliber, finance-native Vice President of Transaction Advisory to co-lead their Transaction Readiness, Research & Investor Relations practice. This is a high-visibility, senior leadership hire stepping in alongside an existing VP to manage a growing team of Associates and oversee a sophisticated book of business. This is a hands-on, executive-level execution role-the successful candidate must be highly comfortable diving into pitch decks and financial narratives personally, holding sophisticated fund principals (GPs, CFOs, CIOs) accountable, and driving rigorous quality control over complex financial deliverables..

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Strategic Council

  • Co-leads the Transaction Readiness, Research, and Investor Relations business unit, taking direct ownership of client outcomes, team performance, and financial contribution margins.
  • Serves as the primary senior advisor to GPs, CIOs, CFOs, and asset managers through high-stakes capital events (fund launches, M&A, refinancings, leadership transitions).
  • Leads advanced transaction narrative sessions, structuring the central commercial thesis that positions a client's financial case before LPs, institutional lenders, and corporate acquirers.
  • Partners with the Managing Director to engineer scaling playbooks, institutional frameworks, and business development initiatives.
Transaction Materials Architecture & Quality Control
  • Supervises and owns the narrative architecture for elite transaction assets, including pitch decks, Offering Memorandums (IMs), Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), management presentations, and teasers.
  • Translates complex investment methodologies, performance track records, and micro/macro data sets into clear, defensible institutional documentation.
  • Conducts absolute quality control (QC) over Associate work products, verifying narrative integrity, financial modeling accuracy, research soundness, and design polish before client delivery.
Research and Investor Relations Strategy
  • Oversees the construction of recurring institutional IR communication matrices, including LP letters, quarterly fund reports, annual reviews, and Annual General Meeting (AGM) materials.
  • Directs proprietary research assignments, competitive landscape white papers, and market intelligence projects that establish clients as authoritative category leaders.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with internal VPs across Go-to-Market, Digital/Multimedia, and PR teams to deliver a unified, flawless client experience.
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies

Required
  • Experience: 6+ years of rigorous experience within Investment Banking (IB), capital markets advisory, transaction advisory, or leading an in-house Investor Relations/Capital Formation team at a Private Equity firm or institutional asset manager.
  • Technical Finance Fluency: Native ability to analyze financial models, investment memos, pitch decks, and fund metrics, immediately identifying narrative flaws, missing context, or data soft spots.
  • Materials Mastery: Direct experience authoring and owning institutional-grade CIMs, IMs, LP updates, and sophisticated macroeconomic research studies.
  • Executive Presence: Proven track record of directly counseling, guiding, and constructively challenging senior fund principals, founders, and corporate executives with diplomacy and conviction.
  • Leadership & Team Building: Hands-on experience managing and training analyst or associate cohorts, implementing rigorous quality control systems, and accelerating employee professional judgment.
  • Language & Tone: Flawless, highly sophisticated written and verbal English communication. Must write with a structured, institutional, and precise tone entirely free of "marketing fluff."
  • Discretion: An absolute, unwavering commitment to confidentiality regarding sensitive capital market indicators, M&A targets, and reputation events.
Preferred
  • Prior experience scaling a service vertical, practice bench, or professional agency team through a period of rapid, triple-digit growth.
  • Multi-asset class experience across Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Credit, or Infrastructure fund formatting.
  • Direct sell-side or buy-side M&A execution history as an advisor or investment principal.
  • Advanced academic credentials: CFA charterholder, MBA, or an equivalent graduate degree in corporate finance or business analytics.
Benefits
  • Elite Leadership Track: Direct line of reporting to the Managing Director, with the institutional scope scaling organically as the firm continues its rapid expansion.
  • Sophisticated Network: Direct engagement with over 400+ of the most respected private equity, real estate, and credit platforms in the US financial ecosystem.
  • Operational Flexibility: Fully remote execution model tailored for an autonomous leader capable of self-scheduling against key transaction deadlines.
  • Generous PTO Structure: Senior-level ownership over time-off allocations, aligned with standard US holiday operational calendars.
