About the Role

Field Service Engineer

Pellenc ST, a global leader in the circular economy sector with over 3000 machines deployed worldwide, is dedicated to creating sustainable solutions for waste sorting. Our cutting-edge machinery inspects and sorts various materials, including packaging, plastics,paper, electronics, industrial, automobile waste, and organic waste. We firmly believe in the power of technology to drive positive change while preserving our planet for future generations.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will contribute to the circular economy and support our Italian clients in adopting sustainable practices. Collaborating with a team (10 people located in Italy), you will play a key role in installations, commissioning, and maintenance of our machinery.

This is a home-office-based position with a significant travel requirement (around 80%) to visit our customers.

Ideal location: North-East Italy (Bologna, Modena, Bergamo, or Venezia)

Technical competencies:

  • Mechanical, electrotechnical, or industrial machinery background with a minimum of 2 years of experience in commissioning and maintenance.
  • Ability to understand electrical schematics.
  • Understanding of pneumatic systems.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent reporting and synthesis skills,
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English for seamless communication with our HQ in France.
