About the Role

Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Georgia

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual services to K-12 students in Georgia school districts. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for professionals dedicated to supporting students with visual impairments through individualized instruction and collaboration with educational teams.

Position Details
  • Fully remote/work-from-home opportunity

Responsibilities
  • Provide virtual instructional services to students with visual impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized educational strategies and accommodations
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, school staff, and families
  • Support students with assistive technology and accessibility tools
  • Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or related field
  • Active Georgia TVI certification/licensure
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Experience working with students with visual impairments
  • Comfortable with virtual platforms and technology
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
