SAP FICO Analyst

Location: Pomona, CA (Travel required once a month) - try local candidates first or from nearby states. (90% Remote) Duration: 10 Months Travel expenses paid by client

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Controlling (CO): A FICO resource is required who possesses a stronger proficiency in Controlling (CO) as opposed to Finance (FI). The candidate should have a solid understanding of cost-centered accounting and profit-centered accounting, including knowledge of costing sheets and overhead keys
• Experience with Project Systems (PS): In addition to the standard responsibilities associated with controlling, it is essential that the candidate has prior experience with the Project Systems (PS) module and can take ownership of related tasks
• Requirements Analysis: Capability to understand and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional configurations within SAP
• SAP Configuration Skills: Familiarity with configuring SAP systems, particularly in the context of Controlling and Project Systems
• Basic Customization Knowledge: Understanding of SAP customization processes, even if not deeply complex, to support system configuration

Requirements:

• Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in FICO roles, specifically focusing on Controlling and Project Systems
• SAP Certification: Relevant SAP certification in FICO or related modules is preferred
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with business stakeholders and fine-tune requirements
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with S/4 HANA and other relevant financial software tools.
• Travel is required once a month in Pomona, California.
