1) Two years of college credit, an associate's degree or passage of a State approved test required.Michigan teaching certificate preferred. 2) Ability to assist the classroom instructor with the development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises. 3) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4) Ability to communicate and work with individual classroom instructors. 5) Experience working with students. 6) Ability to assist academically at-risk students in a classroom setting and in individual tutoring.
