The Education Expert will support the team lead and other team members in carrying out all necessary tasks to complete the HES II evaluation. They will support the Team Lead in the document review, instrument development, and data collection planning process. The Education Expert will ensure that the methodology is suited to the Lebanese context and operating environment. They will also participate in conducting data collection, analyzing the data, and writing sections of the evaluation report. This is a short-term position expected to take place between January – May 2026.
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:
• Master's degree in education, international development, social sciences, or other relevant field from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience working on or researching topics including formal and nonformal education, refugee education programming, capacity strengthening, and job readiness programs, required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, writing, and oral presentation skills required.
• Oral and written proficiency in English and Arabic required.
Prior experience conducting evaluations of USAID-funded activities, preferred. At least 10 years' experience in the MENA region, preferred.
Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and using a computer.
This position has no work or environmental factors outside of a standard office environment.
Only Lebanese citizens are eligible for this position. This is a short-term, temporary position. The position is 100% remote.
