Senior Financial Analyst
A growing organization in the education space is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial analysis across the business. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a strong finance professional who enjoys partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, improving reporting processes, and using data to drive business decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who is both analytically strong and systems-savvy, with experience supporting planning processes in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Support strategic planning initiatives and broader business decision-making
- Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop financial models, KPIs, and reporting to support leadership decision-making
- Create, maintain, and distribute monthly internal reporting packages
- Structure and analyze complex data sets to deliver actionable insights
- Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, shared services, and leadership teams
- Support cross-functional initiatives through financial analysis and reporting
- Serve as a liaison to accounting on invoicing, collections, and general ledger-related questions
- Help improve processes through technology, automation, and business intelligence tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant financial analysis experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly to various stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Additional Details
- Fully remote role
- Must be able to work EST hours, with some flexibility around the standard 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
- Compensation targeted at $100,000 – $110,000, with preference closer to the low end of the range
- No bonus associated with the role
