What You'll Do
Lead and inspire a talented and multi-disciplinary team delivering structural engineering designs for utilities and EPC partners.
Provide strategic oversight for project resources, budgets, and client relationships.
Guide engineers through complex buildings and substation projects.
Manage resources, performance, and development for a growing national substation group.
Review and approvedesign packages, drawings, and specifications for technical excellence.
Partner with leadership on business development, proposal preparation, and recruiting initiatives.
Champion a culture of learning, innovation, collaboration and inclusion across the team.
What You Bring
Bachelor's or Master's in Structural Engineering and an active PE license; SE and/or PMP is a plus.
15+ yearsof experience in structural engineering, including 4+ yearsin leadership.
You have knowledge of codes and standards. (ASCE-7, IBC, ACI, AISC, wood and masonry), and design of structural systems in concrete, steel, and masonry with applications in either utilities or buildings.
Advanced expertise in structural engineering, developing and reviewing structural calculations, drawings, and specifications; experience in buildings and/or high-voltage substation design a plus.
You're proficient with business and engineering applications.,. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and structural calculation software tools like MathCAD, RISA, Staad.Pro, LPile, MFAD, etc. is a must. Microstation and/or AutoCAD proficiency will help you stand out.
Deep knowledge of utility industry standards a plus.
A passion for mentorship, innovation, and collaborative leadership.
Confident communicator, mentor, and team builder with excellent organizational skills and a passion for helping engineers grow in both technical depth and systems thinking.
Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $160,000, based on experience, qualifications, and PE/PMP status.
