Senior Business Development Manager, Financial Institutions

As a Senior Business Development Manager, Financial Institutions at Splitit, you will help launch and scale a new business focused on delivering white-label installment credit card and lending solutions to banks and credit unions. Working closely with the General Manager and leadership team, you will identify, develop, and close strategic partnerships while helping establish a new distribution channel for the company.

  • Business Development: Identify and engage prospective bank and credit union partners. Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound outreach, industry networking, referrals, and strategic relationship development.
  • Sales Execution: Lead opportunities through discovery, solution positioning, business case development, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract execution. Collaborate with leadership throughout the sales process to advance strategic opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Develop relationships with stakeholders across lending, payments, digital banking, product, and executive leadership teams. Establish Splitit as a trusted partner and advisor.
  • Market Development: Represent Splitit at industry events and develop relationships across the banking, credit union, fintech, and payments ecosystem. Share customer feedback and market insights to help shape commercial strategy and identify new growth opportunities.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales within fintech, payments, lending, banking, or related technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success generating pipeline, navigating complex buying processes, and closing new business.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and excited by the opportunity to help build a new business and distribution channel from the ground up.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder who can establish credibility with stakeholders from operators to executives.
  • Actively using AI-powered tools to improve prospecting, account research, productivity, and sales effectiveness.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
