About the Role

Job Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced professional to join their firm in a pivotal role that significantly contributes to the company's strategic growth and expansion plans. This position offers flexibility in work location, with the option to work remotely or from the on-site office in Charlotte, NC, as needed. Collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer will determine the work setting on any given day. This is a salaried and commission opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Generate leads using a relationship-based approach to identify, attract, and acquire prospective clients.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with referral sources and prospective clients.
  • Market the firm's competitive position, value proposition, and commitment to ethics and values.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships to generate new business for the firm.
  • Promote the firm's brand to business partners and prospective clients.
  • Build a network of referrals to create new opportunities for relationship development and revenue growth.
  • Conduct presentations and seminars to raise awareness about the firm's industry leadership and services.
  • Coordinate relationship development activities with the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Financial Advisors.
  • Utilize the firm's technical resources to track and monitor all relationship development activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor the effectiveness of marketing and referral networking activities.
  • Provide insights on marketing conditions and competitor activities to the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer.
  • Engage in professional training and development to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required; a graduate or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of applicable experience in field sales, preferably in financial services or a comparable industry.
  • Self-driven and motivated to meet performance metrics and new business development goals.
  • Ability to leverage and establish relationships and networks with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Proficient in desktop applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and CRM systems.
