Sr. Design Engineer (50)

Responsible for the design of parts and accessories from concept to production meeting goals for performance and budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (equivalent work experience may be considered)
• 5-8 years related design experience required, plastics and/or sheet metal.
• Experience designing and bringing product into production.

• Customer-facing effective communicator focused on building relationships
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Results driven performance/work ethic
• Leadership attributes centered around team collaboration
• Proficiency in 3D CAD Software (preferably Solidworks, and /or Creo)
• 3-5 years of surfacing experience
• GD&T, FMEA and dimensional tolerance stack ups
• Familiar with design benefits / constraints in multiple manufacturing methods (sheet metal, injection molding, machining, etc.)
• Application of engineering principles to ensure product performance
