Project Overview: The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village. The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah – Riyadh highway.
Job Summary: In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project's electrical engineering aspects.You will lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of electrical components and processes.Your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure uniquely complex requirements of a project's electrical engineering aspects are met. "This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project.
Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership".
Major Responsibilities:
Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills: Relevant work experience in detailed engineering preferably in an EPC/EPCM industry for large industrial plants.Knowledge of systems, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computer applications within the Electrical engineering discipline.
Experience in preparation of specifications, datasheets, calculations, and other design documents for major electrical equipment Experience in design, procurement, construction, commissioning or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities or process plants is desirable.Knowledge of related construction practices and the associated costs.Knowledge and understanding of technical and cost issues related to selection of design features within the discipline.Knowledge of IEC Standards and Saudi Building Code (related to Electrical) is desirable
