Job Description
For the strengthening of our Hardware team, we are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our Shared R&D Center Europe in Travagliato (Brescia). The resource will contribute to the development of advanced electronic solutions for high-level industrial applications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with international standards.
Responsibilities
- Designing electronic architectures and creating electrical schematics (Altium or System Capture Allegro)
- Designing microcontroller-based hardware and selecting components
- Sizing and developing power circuits using simulation tools (LTSpice, MATLAB/Simscape)
- Performing hardware validation tests and supporting EMC certification activities
- Preparing technical documentation (specifications, reports, risk analysis, bill of materials)
- Supporting industrialization activities
- Collaborating with firmware, mechanics, quality, and product engineering
- Supporting troubleshooting and continuous product improvement
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronic Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Automation
- In-depth knowledge of power and analog electronics
- Experience with LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink or Simscape
- Ability to test, validate, and debug hardware
- Knowledge of industrial standards (EN60204-1, EN61800-5-1 or EN60664-1 for insulation distances);
- Knowledge of Functional Safety is a plus
