Job Title
Engages with internal CSBB partners to define reporting and data insight requirements that enable business capabilities. Primary reporting focuses on data that is utilized for strategic planning, tactical execution, and issues resolution. Leverage technical skills to improve business capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult with internal clients, up-to, and including senior leaders, to understand data/reporting requirements, then design, develop and delivery reports and insights to satisfy the need. Consultations may be for one-off, recurring, or for project-related needs.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and tools. Maintain knowledge of data and database structure to deliver meaningful reports and analysis.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations from large and complex datasets.
- Execute data and report validation to support ongoing quality assurance processes; as needed, identify data integrity issues, and provide feedback to ensure any issues are remediated.
- Identify process improvements using tools and technical skills, while ensuring adherence to all internal and external policies and procedures for data governance.
- Represent team on cross-functional workforce management and/or operations management projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education or related training
- 2-5 years of reporting and analytics experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, modelling)
- Experience creating PowerPoint presentations to tell a compelling story using data and analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Background in Branch Banking
- Experience with business intelligence visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Visier)
- Project management and process improvement skills
