About the Role
Summary:
Duration: 6-month contract
Work Mode: Remote for months 1-4, Hybrid for months 5-6
Location: Cambridge Street office, Boston
Part-time, 22.50 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Create layouts for brochures, booklets, banner ads, billboards, and video assets using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign and Illustrator).
Develop culturally diverse materials tailored for specific target audiences, including layout preparation for up to nine languages.
Solicit bids through the state procurement system, coordinate timelines, review proofs, and evaluate the performance of external printers and translators.
Maintain design file organization and collaborate with state and local WIC staff to ensure all materials align with program priorities.
Produce presentation aids and conference materials while providing technical design assistance to project managers.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of professional graphic design experience.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
Experience managing print production, vendor bidding workflows, and multilingual layouts.
Preferred Skills:
Strong file organization skills.
Portfolio demonstrating design for diverse audiences.
