Integrated Curriculum Coordinator
The Coordinator for Integrated Curriculum in the Department of Medical Education (DME) provides comprehensive academic and administrative support for the integrated Foundations (preclinical) curriculum, including curriculum integration coordination, coordination of WrightQ (Problem Based Learning), and coordination of the teaching and clinical faculty to ensure integration of sessions.This role ensures seamless course delivery across multiple content areas, serves as a central point of contact for students and faculty facilitators for WrightQ, and facilitates interdepartmental collaboration with affiliated colleges and institutional offices.
The coordinator plays an essential role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of complex educational offerings within the Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM) by leading the day-to-day operational coordination of curriculum delivery across Foundations modules and supporting curriculum integration, data integrity, and continuous quality improvement efforts.The position is full-time and requires a minimum 4 days of in-person work per week with the option of one remote day per week.
A Bachelor's degree with three years of experience in education, healthcare, higher education administration, program/project management, instructional design, or a related field OR an Associate's degree and five years of experience in education, healthcare, higher education administration, program/project management, instructional design, or a related field.Excellent communication skills to communicate with internal and external clients.Proficient in MS Office and database management.Professional writing, document editing, and the ability to create accurate progress reports.Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks and work on multiple diverse projects and to work autonomously.
Ability to work with a wide variety of student populations.Attention to detail in customer services, records management, and other work products.
A Master's degree and one year of related work experience in education, healthcare, higher education administration, program/project management, instructional design, or a related field. Experience with learning management systems. Experience with instructional design support. Experience with university computer systems i.e. BANNER Admin, EAB-Navigate, Pilot, Slate. Experience working in secondary or higher education.
