About the Role
Oil & Gas Hydraulic/Midstream/Mechanical Engineer
Preference is Edmonton Canada, however we are flexible for remote working. Candidates has to go onsite the first 2 weeks for training.

Rate: $80-$85
Member of Energy Consulting Team at LTIM
Work with multidisciplinary teams of oil & gas companies on digital transformation projects.
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of 8 years of practical experience of O&G midstream facilities and mainline operations & maintenance.
SME in both leak detection and fundamental principles of flow assurance modeling.
Experience of building, tuning and maintaining leak detection monitoring software solutions including QA/QC of data.
Sound knowledge of fundamentals of various calculations including material balance, column separation detection, automated pressure deviation, automated and statistical volume balance, rupture detection and batch tracker.
Experience of monitoring production leak detection systems and performing RCFA and following company's Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Sound knowledge of leak detection related API, PHMSA and other related standards is required.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and C# is a desirable.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Scrum/Agile training and/or certification is preferred
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or engineering program (i.e., mechanical, chemical, process)
Registration as a Professional Engineer
Other Requirements
Ability to travel within USA and Canada, and work at both the client's offices and field locations as per their applicable HSEQ policy, Federal and State/Provincial Requirements.
