About the Role

DescriptionWe are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a non-profit organization in Portage, Wisconsin.This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, handling high-volume phone interactions, and keeping service records accurate and up to date.

The person in this role will provide courteous assistance, process orders efficiently, and contribute to a positive experience for every caller.Responsibilities:- Respond to incoming customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.- Assist individuals with questions, service needs, and general account or order-related concerns.- Enter orders and update customer information accurately within the appropriate systems.- Handle a steady flow of phone interactions while maintaining quality and attention to detail.- Make outbound calls when needed to follow up on requests, clarify details, or provide updates.- Document conversations, actions taken, and next steps to ensure complete service records.- Resolve routine issues promptly and escalate more complex matters to the appropriate team.- Support day-to-day call center operations by meeting service expectations and response timelines.Requirements - Previous experience in customer service or a call center environment.- Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls in an efficient and detail-focused manner.- Strong data entry and order processing skills with close attention to accuracy.- Clear verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting with changing customer needs.- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to navigate multiple systems while assisting callers.- Reliable organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
