Eric Sorensen for Illinois is hiring a full-time Finance Director to join our team in Illinois' 17th Congressional District. Congressman Sorensen is the first meteorologist elected to Congress in 45 years and is the first openly LGBTQ individual elected to represent IL. The ideal candidate should be excited about the prospect of growing and implementing an ambitious fundraising program. This position will start in Q2 of 2025 and will continue to November 30, 2026.
During the off-year, the Finance Director's location is flexible between the Quad Cities and DC. Day-to-day work will be performed remotely, with the option of in-person call time if based in DC, but the Finance Director will be expected to travel nationally for in-person events as needed. The Finance Director will be expected to relocate to the Quad Cities during the on-year.
This is a senior staff role that reports to the Campaign Manager and has a direct working relationship with the Congressman.

This is a full-time position and will at times require weekend and evening work, both remote and in-person work, and travel to support the Congressman's fundraising activities in Illinois. The starting salary for this position ranges from $6,000-7,000 a month, dependent on experience.
