About the Role

Professional Faculty Position

Our Mission for Cambridge Lakes Learning Center is to educate children by cultivating curiosity, challenging minds, and inspiring excellence through collaborative learning experiences. We're looking for educators who value the whole child, curiosity in action, growth through challenge, shared responsibility, creative problem solving, and excellence with integrity. At Cambridge Lakes we are all learners. Our faculty are resilient, principled, playful explorers, empathetic, and reflective.

In this role, you will design and deliver engaging, learning experiences aligned to our values, challenge every student, and inspire excellence across all content areas and grade levels.Employ a range of research-based instructional strategies aligned to our instructional model that support inquiry, project-based, and experiential approaches to address the whole child and support the growth of all learners.Partner with colleagues, families, and school leadership to align curriculum, communicate student progress, and contribute to a culture of shared responsibility.

Engage fully in Cambridge Lakes' Professional Excellence Framework and all professional responsibilities as outlined in the Guide to Excellence and Employee Handbook.

Minimum B.A/B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution in the appropriate education area. Some faculty positions may require a graduate/terminal degree, or certificate, pending need. Charter schools may employ non-certified teachers if they have a bachelor's, graduate, or terminal degree and meet other qualifications. Current Professional Educator License (PEL); Appropriate endorsements per subject matter seeking experience with experiential learning, project-based learning, inquiry approaches, or specialized pedagogies.

Meet the standards outlined in the contract. Classroom-based with regular interaction throughout the school. Attendance at meetings and events outside regular school hours. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift, move, and/or support up to 50 pounds.

We invest in faculty success through our Instructional Practice Advancement (IPA) for Educators. Competitive compensation with consistent adjustments to align with the market and skills. Instructional Practice Advancement (IPA) contingent bonus is paid out twice a year. Salary adjustments per specialized areas of study, certifications, advanced degree, Golden Apple/Board certification, or as determined by leadership. Tuition-Free Preschool. Exceptionally Qualified Student Loan Assistance. Competitive Retirement Benefits (TRS). NKEC-paid Individual Health insurance, Basic Life insurance, and Long Term Disability insurance. Salary Range: $45,000-80,000. (Salary commensurate with experience, education, and demonstrated competencies)
