About the Role

Reichert Inc is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Director to drive growth across USA and Canada optometry and ophthalmology eyecare market sector.This dynamic role involves developing and executing strategic plans, fostering partnerships, and leveraging your industry expertise to expandour footprint and drive revenue growth.This position reports to the VP Sales and Marketing and is a fully remote position.

As a senior member of the Companies senior sales leadership, the Regional Sales Director regularly partners with business Leadership to create and execute strategy, develop growth plan and budgets, provide forecasts for operational and financial planning.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and strengthen the company's position in the eyecare market.
  • Work with both direct and indirect sales channels develop and execute localized tactical plans to deliver growth.
  • Manage and grow relationships with current National Accounts, including large optometry practices, retail chains, and industry partners.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and innovation within existing accounts
  • Manage pricing and discounting to balance growth and achieve profitable growth.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management teams to align strategies and enhance value propositions.
  • Build and maintain a robust professional network within the eyecare industry to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Monitor account key performance indicator metrics, sales forecasts, and market share growth
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the optometry, eyecare, or medical device industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the optometry/ ophthalmology market, including key players and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing best sales practices and tools
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success in managing national accounts and achieving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability to dynamic market conditions.
  • Analytical skills for performance evaluation and market assessment.

Compensation

Employee Type: Salaried

Salary Minimum: 160,000

Salary Maximum: 200,000
