Job Description

FLINT is excited to announce that we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our team for the Fort McMurray Capital Project! Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a dynamic workforce and contribute to impactful projects. 

Location: Fort McMurray, AB
Duration: June 2026 - March 2027

NOW HIRING: Iron Workers | Pipefitters 

Details:

  • Scope of Work:  Construction, Exchangers, Tie-ins, Bolt-up/ Welding, Piping, Structural Installation 
  • 14/7 Rotation 
  • 9.5 -hour regular time on an averaging agreement
  • FI/FO with flight hubs in Edmonton and Calgary
  • Camp Accommodation
  • Referral Bonus Available for Journeypersons 

Qualifications

  • Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate.
  • Minimum 4 years in oil and gas construction projects preferred.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • Common Safety Orientation
  • No virtual option — in-person attendance required for the following ticket requirements.
    • Fall Protection
    • Aerial Work Platform
  • Welders are to provide the following tickets:
    • CWB
    • B-Pressure
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation to the site.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits. 

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
