LHH is representing a growing distribution organization, seeking a Senior Data Analyst to transform complex operational data into actionable business insights. This position plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations, transportation, inventory management, and executive decision-making through advanced analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide visibility into key operational and financial metrics.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, cleanse, analyze, and validate data from multiple systems and databases.
- Analyze distribution, inventory, logistics, fulfillment, transportation, and customer service data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with leadership and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights that support strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain data models, KPIs, scorecards, and forecasting tools to measure operational performance.
- Investigate data discrepancies and collaborate with IT and business teams to improve data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and special projects in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Mentor junior analysts and help establish analytics best practices across the organization.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytics role.
- Advanced proficiency with SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and data manipulation.
- Strong experience developing dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions in Power BI.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data validation, and reporting best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in an ever-changing business environment.
- Experience within distribution, logistics, supply chain, warehousing, manufacturing, or transportation industries is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with ERP, WMS, TMS, or other operational systems.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Exposure to predictive analytics, forecasting, or statistical analysis.
- Experience leading analytics projects and collaborating across multiple departments.
Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
