Accounts Payable Specialist Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-FridayWe are seeking a detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices while maintaining positive relationships with both internal departments and external vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities - Process vendor invoices accurately and timely within the company's ERP system.
- Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor and respond to Accounts Payable email inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Research and resolve invoice, purchase order, and receiving discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, account questions, and invoice issues.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, Operations, and other departments to obtain information required for invoice processing.
- Assist with vendor statement reviews and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure supporting documentation is properly filed and retained.
- Support month-end closing activities by ensuring invoices are processed and recorded within designated timelines.
- Follow established Accounts Payable policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assist with special projects and other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic Microsoft Excel functions.
- Comfortable with data entry and working within ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications - 1+ years of Accounts Payable, accounting support, or administrative experience.
- Experience processing high-volume invoices.
- Familiarity with purchase orders, invoice matching, and account reconciliations.
- Experience working in an ERP system.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
