About the Role

Facilities Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire)
Richmond, VA | On-site

Our client, a well-established organization in the Richmond area, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a safe and functional environment, and can handle a variety of building and maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs across the facility, including basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC support, while partnering with external facilities vendors to coordinate and support larger repairs and service projects
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
  • Respond to service requests and troubleshoot building-related concerns in a timely manner
  • Assist with vendor coordination for larger repairs and scheduled maintenance projects
  • Support office moves, furniture setup, and space adjustments as needed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks
  • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Additional Details:
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
  • Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
