About the RoleI am partnering with a well-established professional services organization to identify a customer-focused Help Desk Specialist. This opportunity is ideal for an IT support professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, providing outstanding end-user support, and working in a collaborative environment. The role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies while supporting professionals across multiple office locations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, network access, and end-user technology issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to workstations, Microsoft 365 applications, printers, mobile devices, VPN connectivity, phones, and conferencing tools.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning, device setup, and access management.
- Assist with workstation deployments, equipment installations, technology refresh projects, and conference room technology support.
- Utilize a ticket management system to document, prioritize, and resolve service requests in a timely manner.
- Partner with team members and internal stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Contribute to IT initiatives and projects that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in a Help Desk, Service Desk, Technical Support, or Desktop Support role.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop hardware, software, networking, and user access issues.
- Experience supporting collaboration technologies, including video conferencing and business communication platforms.
- Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or similar credentials are highly valued.
- Experience supporting document management, professional services, legal, financial, or other specialized business applications is a plus.
