LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Dispatcher who is responsible for coordinating daily schedules and routing service technicians to ensure efficient and timely service delivery. This role serves as the central point of communication between technicians, customers, and internal teams, requiring strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced service environment.
Responsibilities:- Schedule and dispatch service technicians based on availability, skill set, location, and job priority
- Monitor technician progress throughout the day and make real-time schedule adjustments as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technicians in the field, providing instructions, updates, and support
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment times, delays, and service updates
- Track service calls, job status, and completion times using dispatch or service management systems
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a professional and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and daily activity logs
- Collaborate closely with service managers and internal teams to ensure operational coverage and customer satisfaction
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, safety guidelines, and service standards
Qualifications:- Previous dispatcher experience within a service-based environment preferred
- Experience coordinating schedules for field technicians highly desirable
- Strong multitasking, time-management, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in time-sensitive situations
- Proficiency with dispatch software, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and reliability
Hours:- 7:00am-3:30pm
- Monday through Friday
