About the Role

Temp Recruiter

Location: Commack, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $35-38/hour (based on experience)
Assignment Length: Immediate start through February 2027

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter for a long-term temporary assignment in Commack, NY. This individual will support full-cycle recruiting efforts across a variety of positions and partner closely with hiring managers to identify, attract, and onboard top talent. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be proficient with either Greenhouse or Workday ATS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition intake through offer acceptance
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates through various recruiting channels
  • Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the ATS
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide hiring updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with onboarding coordination and pre-employment processes as needed
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume or corporate environment
  • Hands-on experience with Greenhouse or Workday is required
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting professional, administrative, corporate, or operational hiring
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
