Our client, a mission-driven non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to provide general ledger support, partner with management on financial reporting and support internal and external audit requests. The ideal candidate brings deep non-profit accounting experience and can step in quickly on this temp-to-hire opportunity. Position is fully onsite located in Manhattan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports all accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end and year-end close
- Prepares financial reporting for leadership, funders, and board committees
- Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and internal controls
- Support audits, including preparation of schedules
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Significant experience in a non-profit accounting environment
- Strong technical skills including Excel and ERP experience
Pay Details: $40.00 to $48.00 per hour
