Senior AccountantOur client, a large and well-established publicly traded organization, is seeking a
Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine traditional accounting responsibilities with business partnering, financial analysis, and project accounting while supporting a fast-paced and evolving technology organization.
This position is ideal for an accountant who enjoys a mix of

Key Responsibilities- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Support multiple business units and serve as a financial partner to department leaders.
- Prepare monthly financial packages, analyze results, and present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Track and monitor operating expenses, invoices, and project-related costs.
- Support capital project accounting, fixed assets, depreciation, amortization, and capitalization processes.
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Perform quarterly inventory reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
- Help guide and mentor a Staff Accountant on transactional and coding-related matters.
- Collaborate with internal customers across the organization on accounting and financial matters.
- Participate in ongoing process improvements, systems initiatives, and reporting enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong experience with:
- Month-end close
- Financial reporting
- Journal entries and reconciliations
- Variance analysis
- Fixed assets and capital projects
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Exposure to project accounting, capital expenditures (CapEx), and asset accounting.
- Experience supporting operational stakeholders and presenting financial results.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working within large company or public company environments preferred.
