We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Inbound Coordinator job in Greensboro, NC! This is an on-site role, contract with potential to go permanent. In this role you are responsible for managing and tracking inbound international and domestic shipments to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time. This role works closely with suppliers, freight providers, distribution centers, and internal teams to coordinate transportation, resolve shipping issues, maintain data accuracy, and support overall supply chain operations. We are looking for candidates with SAP experience, advanced Excel and at least 2 years of logistics experience!
Responsibilities- Coordinate inbound ocean, air, and ground shipments from suppliers to distribution centers or customers.
- Manage shipment bookings with freight forwarders and vendors.
- Monitor shipping schedules and proactively address potential delays.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate shipment and inventory data within company systems.
- Create and process shipping documentation and carrier assignments.
- Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.
- Monitor carrier performance and ensure transportation partners follow required processes.
- Research and resolve shipment exceptions, delays, and transit issues.
- Track and trace shipments through transportation management and carrier systems.
- Generate, update, and analyze reports to improve shipment visibility and operational performance.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, transportation providers, suppliers, and customers as needed.
- Support inventory flow and delivery planning across multiple locations.
- Assist with resolving import, routing, and destination exceptions.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, import operations, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
- Knowledge of international shipping processes and import compliance requirements.
- Understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and transportation operations.
- Experience using ERP systems and transportation management software preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours when business needs require.
