We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position will partner with cross-functional teams, support audits, and help drive process improvements across the accounting function.
Key Responsibilities- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
- Analyze financial statements and investigate variances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Support internal and external audits and provide audit documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Review accounting transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Partner with operations and business leaders to support financial decision-making.
- Develop and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience- Multi-entity accounting environment.
- Audit support and external auditor interaction.
- Process improvement and internal controls.
- Manufacturing, construction, distribution, technology, or professional services industry experience (depending on business needs).

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
