About the Role

Commercial Collections-Construction LHH Recruitment is working with a growing construction company in North Phoenix who is seeking an experienced Commercial Collections Specialist to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction B2B collections who understands the construction payment process and is experienced with lien waivers. This is Monday-Friday, fully onsite, compensating between 55k-65k DOE.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial construction accounts and outstanding receivables
  • Perform B2B collections on past-due construction invoices
  • Contact customers by phone and email to secure timely payment
  • Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
  • Review customer accounts, aging reports, and payment history
  • Work closely with customers, project managers, and internal accounting teams
  • Prepare, track, and process lien waivers
  • Follow up on unpaid invoices and escalate delinquent accounts as needed
  • Maintain accurate collection notes and account documentation
  • Assist with account reconciliations and other AR-related duties
Requirements:
  • Construction B2B Collections and AR experience - MUST HAVE
  • Lien waiver experience - MUST HAVE
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction billing and collections
  • Experience managing a high-volume accounts receivable portfolio
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong Excel skills(VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
