About the Role

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established and growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and operational accounting activities across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the monthly close process, including general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements and management reporting packages.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and settlements.
  • Support cash flow reporting and distribution schedules.
  • Review and analyze invoices and operating expenses.
  • Prepare reporting packages for investors, lenders, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist with internal controls compliance, SOX-related activities, and external audits.
  • Support property tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and provide backup support across the department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Experience managing multiple entities and complex close processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
