Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join a growing team in the Humboldt Park area. This onsite role will support day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and full-cycle recruiting efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Paylocity and a strong understanding of HR best practices and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Maintain and update employee records in Paylocity HRIS
- Process payroll and support benefits administration
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing questions and resolving issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and process improvements
- Support performance management and policy implementation
Qualifications:- 2+ years of HR Generalist experience
- Hands-on experience with Paylocity required
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and employment law
- Experience with payroll processing and HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
