About the Role

Office Assistant We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support within a busy accounting department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, and supporting daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with internal procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment. This position is temp to hire and will pay $20/hr. Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the accounting team.
  • Prepare, review, and process documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter, update, and maintain data within company systems and spreadsheets.
  • Scan, file, and organize electronic and paper records.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documents are properly retained and archived.
  • Assist with data entry, invoice processing, reconciliations, and general accounting support tasks.
  • Monitor documentation status and follow up on missing information when needed.
  • Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
  • Respond to internal inquiries and provide administrative support across departments.
  • Generate reports and assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Perform other clerical and office support duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous office, clerical, administrative, or data entry experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting accounting or finance functions is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
