About the Role

Certified Payroll Compliance Coordinator LHH is looking for an experienced Certified Payroll Professional. Our client is experiencing significant growth and increased reporting volume and in need of someone to support prevailing wage and certified payroll compliance activities. This position focuses heavily on reporting, documentation, tracking, and regulatory compliance rather than traditional payroll processing. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with large data sets, and capable of managing multiple reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is a 6-month temporary role with the potential to go permanent after the temp portion. This position is 100% onsite and will pay between $27 and $35/hr. Responsibilities
  • Generate certified payroll reports from ERP and payroll systems.
  • Upload certified payroll data into compliance tracking platforms and verify data accuracy.
  • Review, investigate, and resolve compliance notices and reporting discrepancies.
  • Support prevailing wage reporting requirements for multiple active projects.
  • Manage large payroll data files and prepare them for system uploads when file size limitations exist.
  • Split, organize, and validate extensive datasets while maintaining reporting accuracy and completeness.
  • Create and maintain wage deduction and other compliance-related forms.
  • Track compliance documentation and maintain supporting spreadsheets and records.
  • Assist with audits, reporting reviews, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Monitor weekly reporting deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain missing information and resolve reporting issues.
  • Support ongoing certified payroll administration and compliance activities.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with certified payroll, prevailing wage reporting, payroll compliance, or related administrative functions.
  • Ability to work accurately with large amounts of payroll and employee data.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience using Excel for reporting, tracking, and data management.
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing compliance tracking software and ERP systems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and manage a high-volume workload.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve reporting discrepancies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
