About the Role

LHH is partnering with a company that is in growth mode to identify an AP Accountant for a contract role. This position will be at least three months, but potentially longer. This position is fully onsite in Seattle, WA. You will handle three-way match invoice processing, troubleshooting accounts, and reconciliations. Also, since the team is going through some technology upgrades, you will be assisting with some process improvements or projects. The manager is looking for someone who has at least a year of accounting experience and who has strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
  • Process three-way matching invoices, ensuring accuracy.
  • Review the exceptions, research missing information to make corrections for proper processing.
  • Prepare and record accruals, journal entries, and general ledger coding for assigned business unit.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain vendor records and manage relationships, including responding to inquiries and resolving payment issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support month-end closing activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field would be preferred.
  • At least a year of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP software systems, such as SAP or NetSuite.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and use critical thinking skills without oversight.
  • Professional communication skills.
Pay Details: $31.00 to $34.00 per hour
