Seeking Experienced Controller to join a long-standing manufacturing company in the Wilsonville area.
In this role, you will lead an accounting department including ownership of G/L, Month End, Financial Reporting, and Internal Controls. In this role, you'll have access to a high- performing CFO/mentor who provides significant opportunity for growth.

As the right person for this role, you will bring 10+ years of progressive accounting experience including 5 years of supervisory experience. Manufacturing experience is a must. A Bachelors degree in Accounting or related area is required, additional education or certification appreciated.
Location : On-site in Wilsonville, OR area (relocation offered)
Compensation: $175-200k base + 20% bonus
- 401k: 3/% match, immediately vested
- PTO/Holidays: 80 hours PTO (grows at year 2 and 5) 7 days sick, 7 holidays, add floating holiday at 4 years
- M/D/V: multiple options, including low cost premium options for individuals
- HSA: Company provides $600 annual contribution for HSA plan election
Role Overview This is a highly visible role with significant impact on the organization. This role leads, develops and drives process improvement initiatives.
- High visibility to CFO and CEO, frequently speak to financial results and answers questions day to day.
- Full Ownership of Month-end and year-end financial close, Financial Reporting, G/L, A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets.
- Team leadership, team development, and performance management
- Ownership of Internal Controls and Audits,
- Lead process improvement initiatives (internal controls, financial close, automation, software)
- Technical Accounting SME: ASC 606, ASC 842 adherence
Your Background: - 10+ years of experience, most recently as a Controller
- Manufacturing experience required (open to someone who gained mftg exposure in public)
- 5+ years of direct supervisory experience, specific background in performance management and staff development
- Must thrive in high-performance expectations environment and bring an incredible commitment to accuracy
- Continuous improvement mindset, solution-seeker who does research and comes to the table with a recommended course of action.
- Strength in internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing
- Passion for and driver of passion improvement
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related
- Board ready communication
