About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Bergen County, NJ, is seeking an Entry-Level Maintenance Engineer to join its maintenance team. This role is responsible for supporting the reliability, efficiency, and safety of manufacturing equipment while helping to minimize downtime and optimize production performance.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, assisting with root cause analysis, coordinating repairs with internal and external partners, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
  • Perform root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and critical maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Work with outside vendors, contractors, and equipment manufacturers as needed.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and industrial safety standards.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
