About the Role

LHH is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, IN. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity where you will partner directly with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, organizational growth, and operational excellence across multiple business functions. The organization is investing in enterprise project management capabilities and is seeking a leader who can establish structure, improve cross-functional alignment, and deliver impactful business results. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $110,000-125,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead enterprise-wide projects from planning through implementation and final project closure.
  • Partner directly with executive leadership to communicate priorities, risks, and project status.
  • Manage multiple strategic initiatives across operations, supply chain, commercial, and corporate functions.
  • Establish project governance standards, reporting processes, and organizational best practices.
  • Drive accountability across project teams to ensure milestone and deliverable completion.
  • Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools for leadership visibility.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive-level project reviews.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to support successful outcomes.
  • Align project resources with organizational priorities and strategic business objectives.
  • Improve project management methodologies, documentation standards, and workflow consistency.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives associated with strategic improvement efforts.
  • Mentor and manage project management personnel while supporting professional development.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and organizational performance.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor Degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline is required
  • Preference toward candidates holding a PMP Certification
  • Minimum of 7+ years of Project Management experience within the manufacturing industry is required
  • Must have experience leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion
  • Ideal candidates will have experience developing project governance frameworks and PMO best practices
  • Ideal candidates will have experience creating executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting structures
