LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Staff Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in West Sacramento, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have 3 years of accounting experience with experience in construction industry and have expertise using Quickbooks Desktop. The role will have responsibilities in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting including preparing journal entries as assigned, assist with sales tax reporting, month-end and year-end closing, support annual audits, assist with job costing, as well as other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned. Qualifications: - Experience in Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable and General Accounting (Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, Month-End Close) - Software experience with Quickbooks Desktop is required - Industry experience in a construction organization is required - Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred - Team player, proactive, and detailed - Attention to detail, problem-solver, and strong time management skills - Excellent communications (written & verbal) - Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel - Intermediate to Advanced) Experience: 3 years of accounting experience (Accounting Specialist, Staff Accountant, Finance Assistant, Accounting Clerk) Employment Type: Temp to Hire If you are interested in this or other job opportunities available through LHH Recruitment Solutions, please submit your resume today at www.LHH.com!
