A growing and reputable accounting firm in the Cincinnati area is partnering with our team to identify a Bookkeeper to support their expanding client portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong QuickBooks experience who enjoys working in a client-facing environment and is seeking long-term growth potential. The firm offers a hybrid work schedule after initial training.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and bank/credit card reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes while ensuring accurate and timely postings
- Prepare and assist with individual and/or small business tax returns
- Utilize QuickBooks to maintain financial records, generate reports, and support month-end close activities
- Communicate with clients to gather documentation, answer questions, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping and/or tax preparation experience, preferably in a public accounting or multi-client environment
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred
- Working knowledge of individual and/or small business tax preparation
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong communication skills with a professional, client-service mindset
Pay Details: $27.00 to $38.00 per hour
