About the Role

Our client, a well-established and professional organization, is seeking a polished and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join their team in Columbus, OH. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers while supporting day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a business-focused office environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary front desk representative, greeting visitors and creating a welcoming, professional experience.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls while handling inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support including data entry, document preparation, filing, and office correspondence.
  • Assist with customer service inquiries and help ensure concerns are routed appropriately.
  • Prepare reports and administrative summaries for management as needed.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office communications.
  • Maintain conference rooms, common areas, and reception spaces to ensure a professional appearance.
  • Monitor and restock break room, office, and reception area supplies.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy office setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
  • Comfortable working onsite in a business-professional environment.
